Healing Prayer Centre
The Healing Prayer Centre is open twice a week at different venues:
Tuesday Evening – 8pm-9pm (term time) @ Kings Church Centre, 414 Coxford Road, Lordswood, Southampton SO16 5LL
Thursday Morning – 10.30am-12pm (term time) @ Emmanuel Church, 144 Shirley Rd, Southampton SO15 3FP
Our first Healing Prayer Centre was opened in June 2007 at Kings Church in Lordswood. The Centre has three rooms for healing prayer and for words of encouragement, as well as having a seperate room for ‘soaking prayer’. We have recently opened a second Healing Prayer Centre at Emmanuel Church, Shirley Road on Thursday Mornings.
Surrounded in a safe and confidential environment, those who visit us for healing and wholeness have been touched by the sensitivity of the team as God has brought healing into their lives, whilst words of encouragement and life, through the declaration of the truth of Scripture and the gift of prophecy, have also touched and transformed many lives.
We can testify to God’s extraordinary love and goodness in healing people from a variety of sickness, disease and injury, as well as releasing those troubled by stress related conditions and depression.
We are a Certified ‘Catch the Fire – Soaking Prayer Centre’ and are pleased to offer a place to relax in the presence of a loving Father, accompanied by gentle worship music and quiet prayer. It’s an opportunity to wait on the Lord and receive the promise in scripture of renewed strength and clearer vision.
The experienced and trained ministry team are passionate followers of Jesus who believe He heals today and our prayer and desire is to bring the Kingdom of God to Earth just as it is in Heaven!

Isaiah 53 holds the key to our redemption and to our complete wholeness – both spiritual and physical, informing us that, “. . . the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
Isaiah 53:4 says, “Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering.”
Matthew 8:7 picks up this same thread by declaring, ‘This was to fulfil what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” ‘
If we believe that God laid our iniquities on Jesus, so that in Him there is salvation for all of us, then we should also believe what Isaiah tells us about our sickness’s and diseases being laid upon Jesus – therefore bringing about our healing!
Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life. That life we are told is abundant life. He came to bring us release and freedom, freedom from sin and freedom from sickness. That is why Jesus went to the cross – to make us whole and to set us free! “… The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up.” James 5:15
So if you need to be healed or simply uplifted and refreshed, come and visit us at the Healing Prayer Centre for prayer, encouragement and inspiration. When you have an encounter with the love of Jesus you are rarely the same afterwards.
